June 2008 Photography Challenge
Well, I don't think anyone was planning on hosting the June Photography Challenge... so... I will do it again... Now... relax... I am not going to do a photo a day challenge... I am going to do a 10 photo a day challenge... LOL... just kidding!
As I was sitting here thinking about what we should do, TEXTURE came to mind. I remember when my Mom was taking photography classes in college, one of her projects was to do Texture. So... I am going to ask that you take at least 10 photos this month of texture, and use each one of them some how on a scrapbook page... you can scrap the texture photo itself, or you can use it some how, like as an overlay on a paper... what ever you want to do... but for this challenge, you must use Deco-Pages Designers kits or freebies, and you must have all 10 pages done by the last day of the month. Here is one of the photographs my Mom took, that inspired this challenge, and the page I created with it to save for Matthew...  Thank you CAZ for the wonderful Naming Gift you gave for suggesting names for your wonderful new kit! I love the way this page turned out!  Please post links to your pages in the gallery here for me. I can't wait to see what you do... yes, you may use Quick Pages since I am requiring you to do more than one page.  If you are up to the challenge, and complete it, I will give you a kit I will complete this month... I have not started it yet, so you will see it grow as the month progresses... So get that camera out... and lets have some fun with it!

This sounds like fun. I know one texture I want to use already. I was so busy last month I couldn't get all those pictures and pages done but I did take a lot of pictures!

By the way... because I am requiring you to create so many pages... you may use your pages primarily as other challenges and I will count them for my challenge too... Like if you use a texture photo you take as a background for say the color challenge, I will allow it.

That is really cool Theta! I took a bunch of photos out in my yard today... got some really interesting stuff to play with. I love playing with the macro setting on my camera.

This is a great idea! Love the push to focus on texture. I have lots of photos from the last few months that I haven't used with great texture. One I already made into an overlay, so I guess I've got a start.

ohhhhhhh fun.... I have been taking texture photos for ever.. one day thinking I may make some paper or something... thanks Deb... and how cool your Mom inspired this.. her photo is awesome... TFS!!!
