October 2008 Photography Challenge
 October Photography Challenge: This month I (Deb Ammerman) will be hosting the photography challenge at Deco-Pages. I am working on a kit for you called "Early Autumn" and if you participate and complete the challenge I will give you this kit for free... however, I do plan to challenge you quite a bit this month. No, I am not going to do another 31 in 31 like I planned to do. I am going to require that you do at least 8 scrapbook pages to qualify for this goodie... and here is the challenge:  I was inspired by a television commercial I saw some time ago for this... I don't know what company it is for, but they have a yard troll that travels around to different places in several commercials, and it gave me an idea.... To qualify for this challenge, all 8 of your photos must have the same "prop" in it. You may choose any prop you want... and the first page must be about the prop itself... it must be something, or even someone that is special to you... after all, you will be spending quite a bit of time together this month! and this page will also introduce us to your "prop", so that we know what to look for in your other pages... Your prop must be placed in a completely different setting for each photo/scrapbook page. Your prop does not have to be the focal point of your photo, we just need to be able to see it, of course, you may use it in a kind of I-SPY fashion if you so choose. Oh, you used Pat's QP. I love that QP! And no way - your prop is a SCARECROW!!!!! This is too cool. I'm going to have to find a prop, hmm...

Is this going to be your prop, or perhaps your familiar? After all we're heading toward that witching date at the end of the month. Really though, it's a neat scarecrow and lovely use of that super QP!

I have a scarecrow similar to that (mine is not as nice - LOL). Hmmmmm, what can I use as a prop? I will have to think.

I really want to use a carving of a shorebird for my prop. We will see how well that works, but here is his introduction:

You three ladies have found wonderful props and these will become more precious to you as the photos are taken I am sure.

This is so much fun! You two did a fab job with your props!
 I am out the door for my trip to New York, I will return on Wednesday... hopefully I will find access to the internet at least once or twice while I am away, but if not... I will see you all then!
