December 2008 Photography Challenge
I hope you will join me in the photography challenge this month, as we will be concentrating on capturing the joys of the season for our scrapbooks.
We will be doing another 31 in 31 days, however, because I know that everyone is busy at this time of year, I am going to extend the dead-line for the closing of the challenge until January 15th. But you must have 31 photos (a photo for each day of December) in a total of 31 scrapbook pages to qualify for the reward. Each of your pages must include the date you took the photo on it. However, the page does not have to be scrapbooked on the day you took it, you will have until January 15th to complete the challenge. The reward for this challenge will be your choice of any one digital scrapbook kit from my collection (Deb Ammerman), and I will also be creating a new kit that you will get in addition to a kit of your choice from my collection! This will also give us a chance to be moral support to Scrap-Genie as she completes her year of photos personal challenge, by running the final lap with her! So please do join in! You may use quick pages, and any kit from your personal collection. I would request that you please try to use something from a Deco-Pages Designer on your pages, but I am not making it mandatory.

aaaaaw, Deb, this is so sweet!
 I will appreciate the company these final 31 days. For Dec. 1 I have some birds in Foul Weather - Good Birds For those considering this challenge, all I can say is, it is so wonderful a way to increase your photography and scrapping abilities!  Don't be intimidated though, just have a camera with you wherever you go - the store, the park, movies, in the yard, at a restaurant.  It doesn't matter if your topic isn't momentous. This is our real lives. You'll want to capture the people around you, but don't forget yourself. If you decorate for the holidays, take pictures of the process as well as the end result. Cooking is another good place to get pictures to remember. Past photography challenges are a good stimulus too. This time of year the holiday lights could be a good one, also close ups, textures and light effects. The pets are perfect too.Hope to see lots of pictures of December!!

Great pages so far for the month ladies... we need to try to coax some more people to come and play with us! Here is a little something to help persuade them... I have started on your reward kit... and if I do say so, in my own humble opinion, I think it is going to be a fun kit!
 Now remember, you get a whole extra 15 days to complete this challenge... so get those camera's out, and start clicking! I'll be working on this kit, and will share my progress with you until it is finished... so keep an eye on this thread!

ohhh, I love this challenge.. what a great way to end the year... and I think scrap-genie is awesome.. way to go!!! you have inspired me to take better photos and to see that it is sooo important to scrap all the everyday bits..not just the big moments.. thank you!!! I have fortunately taken pics both days... some of the tree.. hee hee.. so I can still join in..whew...
this is going to be fun!!! |

If you are late in seeing this challenge, I will allow multiple photos/pages for the days you missed ... BUT you must post a note here in the thread on the day you intend to start, so I know to watch for your pages. Remember, you must have a total of 31 photos showcased on 31 scrapbook pages by January 15th.
