the grainery at my grandfathers farm, before they tore it down.
It was built in the early 30's and for years it stood majestic, and proud ... then the grandparents retired and moved to town and someone else took over the farm. And like the people who built it, this majestic old building was retired. So as the prairie grass grew around it, the boards weathered and rotted. This is the last photo taken before it to was gone, like its maker, my Grandfather.

What a fabulous photo and the perfect sky for it. I love shots like this and it would be so terrific framed. Your background paper and tag colors are just perfect. Nice job.

Don't you love the elements Gary supplied this month?
I love your take on the photo and those beautiful background colours suit the photo so well.

Wonderful layout...makes me sad though that it was torn down. A couple near us bought an older home and there was a barn falling down. They are rebuilding it...I've enjoyed seeing it go back up!
