I used my soon to be released kit Starry Night Dreams but used some tools in photoshop elements 2.0 to add some effects to it. I used a piece of white vellum from the kit over a background paper from the kit. I used a brush along the sides to erase some of the white vellum to create my side borders. I used glassy tiles from the kit and erased the vellum under each tile to let the background show through behind the glassy tiles. I used the burn tool to add shadows and depth around the edges of the layout and some elements. I used the dodge tool to add some highlights around the frame to add some light around the photo.
The journaling reads:
We went hiking at Fern Falls in Idaho.
It was about a three hour drive.
But the scenery was beautiful.
And when we finally arrived
at our destination, the gorgeous
waterfalls were well worth the trip!
