This was also done for a heritage challenge requiring all the genealogical "facts" about a person.
My great-great-grandfather set out to be a farmer, but service in the Union Army during the Civil War
broke his health though he lived a long life. His youngest brother suffered even worse, but was able
to live at home cared for by his family. Divorce left Isaac with almost no money, no land and poor
health which lead him to live in Soldiers\' Homes from the 1880s. Oddly the daughter from his second
marriage went with him, not the mother, and was apparently his whole family his last thirty years.

All your family pages are interesting and informative but the journaling in this one reads like the synopsis to a great American novel. Wonderful story and photo, beautifully set out as always. Great mix of kit elements too. This must have taken quite a while to design but it was worth it for such a spectacular result. Helen
