This is my homework for this week in the Color Theory Deco-Pages University workshop. We're supposed to make two layouts from Lorene's kit named Blessings and recolor them... one in a monochrome color scheme and one in a complimentary color scheme. Do you know which one this is? Do you know what those terms mean?

Learn more about the theory of colors, how to make them work for you, and how to use color to convey emotion in your layouts at the next session of the Deco-Pages University.

Oh wow. Love this one. The colors look so much better than the purple one. Great job in changing the colors. Great job.

That's funny that you guys like this one better than the purple. I do too but purple and yellow are complimentary colors and I like the way they look together too. I should have done a completely different layout in purple/yellow but I just didn't have time. I think the biggest difference is the monochrome looks "dressier" and the complimentary is more casual.

Great page, great photos and fabulous colour. Love those pearls too and the flowers are beautifully 3D.

(I always thought a monochrome was one of those bikes with just one wheel you have to ride carrying a parasol for balance. Donīt see any bikes in this... )

This is a beautiful set of photos and the way you've layered one is fabulous.
The monochrome themed page is very elegant.

Wow, beautiful, I like this page because the colors give it a warm feeling( remember that topic?). Love how you tinted the pictures.
