Now THAT'S an owie! Tough place to have stitches because every time you move they're going to move. But you're right...as soon as you're healed it's going to have been worth it to finally be out of pain. I'm glad you have your mom and the rest of your family to help you. Love your new cardboard pieces!!

Oh Dana, poor hands! As you say, the good thing is that they will be better. Love that striped paper and your new elements. And hurray for Mom.

Ouch! That looks so painful Dana. I am sure once you have recovered it will be wonderful to have better use of your hands and less pain. Take care.

EEEEeeewwwwww! Did you know I am extremely squeamish! I guess I didn't get that from my Dad! lol! I am glad you finally got those surgeries over with... now you will mend, and feel much better in time. Me thinks you will get your Mom hooked on Digital Scrapbooking before you are all healed up!

Great idea to scrap this. You won't forget this event too soon. I love that cardboard hand. Very fitting.

Oh, Dana, you poor thing but you got a great LO out of it. I bet it feels about as flexible as the cardboard cut out. Wonderful colours to cool down that hot looking hand. Get well soon.

Ouch! Love the paper with the colors to match your bruising...they are the pretty part of bruising, not the greens and yellows which come after. So glad to see that you are in the downhill part of your recovery. It only gets easier and better from here!
