Poster: scrap-genie (see this users gallery) I have interpreted the sketch 02 pretty literally and welcome comments on ways to improve the result. The number of various papers (and a color variation on some of my weaving) seemed not to want a lot of embellishment, but I am left wanting to move the whole layout up a smidge. The purple bead is a PSP picture tube. I was especially interested in this sketch as I want to do a few pages with a few small photos in addition to a main one and was happy to try out a version.

oh, I love how this turned out, thanks for using my sketch! Do you have the "welcome kit" from our freebie section? There is a gold butterfly in it that I think you might like to play with for this layout... It will add another little touch of 3D, and I think it would go wonderfully with the butterfly background you used here? It's just a suggestion, please, always feel free to take what you like and leave the rest

Thanks for your comments. I like the idea of adding a butterfly a lot. I think it will help if I lighten up on embellishments on this one. It was nice to see Dana do one of the sketches so that I got the idea about doing them. Somehow I didn't know about the Welcome Kit but am downloading it now. It looks like a lot of fun. I plan to work more with the wedding layout, but also try a couple of other ideas with the sketch or something similar.
