Very nice Mary! I think that's a great idea, I will have to keep it in mind. I love the way your watercolor turned out... it actually reminds me of an old velvet painting... do you remember those? You could buy them in the store, they were paint-by-number! Great technique page! Thanks for sharing!

That's what I thought of too Deb! With the vivid colors on black! I printed it out too so I could see how it looked on paper. I really like the effect when it's printed too. I think it probably looks best with landscapes or close-ups.
I think you probably lose too much detail if you tried this on a portrait that was not a close shot unless you added another layer to bring back in the details.... especially around the eyes.
