Love the journaling on this layout!! I feel the same way about movies. I watched Miss Potter twice because it was so gentle, sweet and old-fashioned!

What a great story, Debbie! Love the kit, especially the colour combination, and the journaling and I also love Singing in the Rain, especially the part where Gene Kelly actually does sing - and dance - in the rain. I know what you mean about movies being different too. Nowadays it would probably be called Sinning in the Rain and nobody would wear so much as a raincoat. Aaaah, the good old days. We were both born too late....

What a cute, cute picture of you and your mom. The journaling is terrific and you're SO right about the difference in movies. Great page Deb! I'll have to figure out a way to scrap "I dunno. It was your dad's idea" which was the response I got when I asked my mom about my name. LOL!

This is lovely. I enjoyed reading your journalling and I love the way you have included shots from the movie in your page. I look forward to doing my name page for the Newsletter challenge.

Oh my...what a wonderful picture...is that Pepsi in glass bottles. Save that photo...it may be worth something sometime. I wonder what happened to all the glass bottles we used to buy drinks in?!?
Love this LO and your journaling....also loved Debbie Reynolds movies and wish movies today were more like the good ole days. Great kit, too!

What a great story as how you got your name. I think it is great that you've added pictures of Debbie Reynolds and your mom's favorite movies into the page.
