Journaling:
On May 16, 1997 I got my first ever positive pregnancy test! I can’t even begin to describe how
happy and excited I was… I spent the next few months happily preparing for my first baby… Your brother,
Jared Jerome, was born on Saturday, January 10, 1998 at 4:40 pm in an emergency c-section. He was
20 inches tall and weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and his apgars were 8 and 9. He was so very
beautiful, and we were so in love with him… Parenting a baby came easy to me, and my
world revolved around taking care of him. He was an easy baby, and so we were able to
enjoy every minute. We were so happy to finally be a family, instead of a couple. We
took him with us every where, and rarely used a babysitter…. Jared was very smart,
and picked up things quickly. As a result it was easy to teach him what he could and
couldn’t get in to. He was eager to please, though he was stubborn at times, and
had a bit of a temper at times, though not often…. Life couldn’t have been more
perfect. We knew we wanted more children, and since we had such a time conceiving
Jared, we started trying again when he was only one month old. I wanted
our children to be close in age, and we
had no idea how long it would
take to conceive again.
But we couldn’t
wait!
Such a cutie. I like the stamps effect here. He'd make the sweetest postage stamp.

Julie, you do the most amazing pages and journaling. I never know what to say on each one because they are all so wonderful. Your children will certainly enjoy their wonderful albums.
