It has been so nice to read everyone's name origins. I still have to create my page.
This is lovely. I like that you have put the meaning and the journalling in your page.

How careless of you to let slip that you were almost named after a Disney cartoon character. YouŽd better behave or you might be teased mercilessly by our mischievous (mousechievous?) members...me for one! Your journaling is really interesting and what a good idea to use the moon as your background. Makes me wish I had an interesting story to tell about my own name.

Oh, you are lucky that your brother came up with the name he did! What a great addition to your scrapbook this page will make! Thank you so much for participating in my newsletter challenge! I hope you had fun with it!

What a special way to include your brother on the big event. Yes, can you imagine had he come up with something even worse...and off the wall? We can assume your mom knew she was safe in asking him to do that!

What a great way to be named, by a sibling This is a great story, and I love that you put in the meaning of your namesake. I wonder if your brother knew about the Moon Goddess when he chosse the name.

Love your story. It's so much fun reading all of these. Love your use of the moon photo to journal on.
I'm ROFL at Helen's comments.
