Every year on Mother’s Day the Beavercreek Grange hosts a breakfast, and this
year Joe’s parents wanted us all to meet there for breakfast... Besides us and Jim
and Elvina, the Mewings came, and the Quamens came. The food was good, and Joe
was thrilled that it was all you can eat... I was thrilled because I didn’t have to cook!
After breakfast we went over to Jim and Elvina’s house. We just sat around
the table and chatted the day away. Elvina made a roast (which was devine!).
We felt bad that she was cooking on Mother’s Day. but she refused to let
us help... All in all it was a wonderful Mother’s Day. One of the best yet!
