Journaling reads: My sister was diagnosed with cervical cancer. As her condition worsened her cats started avoiding her and refused to sit in her lap. We hadn’t intended to get another pet but within a few days we found this little guy and decided to get him. When we put him on her lap he immediately curled up and napped for an hour! It was amazing. That energetic little puppy seemed to sense that she was in pain and needed comfort because every time we visited he would curl up on her lap and sleep. Her spirits improved so much we knew we had done the right thing. She passed away a couple of months later and to this day (no matter how big a pain in the butt he has become) he has forever earned a special place in our hearts.

oh my... I am so sorry for the loss of your sister... this is a beautiful page... and I am so glad that she found some comfort with your furry lil pal... TFS!!

What a special dog he is and how much you must love him because of his gentleness with your sister. I am sorry for your loss.

I am sorry about your sister...but what a wonderful little puppy!! I am sure that it made her feel so comforted...and that is very important at that time. Wonderful memory page...
