Nancy_sDawnandDusk

Photo Details
Poster: retro  (see this users gallery)

There´s a gulf of almost 40 years between the photo of the solemn little girl and the smiling woman. This is my tribute to Nancy who was once the perfect example of a Victorian child.

Wow, would not have known they were the same person. Love the page, the then and later photos with the way you split the page...from dawn to dusk...

Wow, I love the split page effect here: it throws in a combonation of colors & special effects. I looks great. Time sure changes the looks of a person (no smile vs. Smile). You can tell those old fashioned photo's by their lack of a smile.

This is lovely! As is your Nancy. Very pretty layout! I would love to use this idea for my daughter and her Great Grandmother!

Oh don't you just love the ringlets in her hair! This is so sweet!

Love this idea! The split colors are so interesting as is the concept of her dawn and her dusk! Great layout!

I love the dawn to dusk concept. Very creative. This is such a gorgeous kit. The colors blend together beautifully and the delicate elements are perfect.

I love the color combination of this page. It is neat to see how much she has changed from childhood to adulthood. I like how you have transitioned the two ripped pages together with the floral and the jeweled staples. Great job!!

this is a gorgeous page of your Nancy... love her ringlets as a child.. (my mom used to put rags in my hair when I was little and it looked just like that).....love the kit and the split page with the torn stapled edge.... this is beautiful.. TFS!!

I loive the way you have made the 2 sides to the page. It is a cute idea. The brown and blue really go well together.
I like the pearl staples and the way you have done the dates.

Helen, it's lovely! I remember Nancy really well, as she lived with us in her later years, and it's great to have this lovely montage of her,
