Poster: scrapladyandmore (see this users gallery) Made this card last week for my friend who received her Doctorate Of Science in Physical Therapy...she was out of town...so, I'll give it to her tomorrow. Remember this morning I hadn't taken a picture...so I took the card pictures and went outside and took a picture of my first sunflower of the summer...an appropriate addition to Marsha's LO! I used Deb Ammerman's Sunflower Kit for this LO...pulled the tag, Marsha title, and the sunflower photo from a LO I made 8-6-06 using the same kit. The Country Doctor element I made for the card. I wanted to post it on the house on the photo of her front porch, but it didn't show up as well as I wanted...so, I made a pop-up frame and placed it on the frame. When DH broke his heel, Marsha came to our house for his physical therapy...she wouldn't let us pay her...I had cooked a meal a week for 2-years or more while she was getting her Master and some while she was working on her doctorate. When we were concerned about a later injury that wasn't getting better...she was at our house in 5 minutes to check him out...she suspected a blood clot and she was right...may have possible saved his life. Lovely page and tribute to your very good friend. It is getting harder every year to find someone who will go the extra mile for you. Doctors here haven't done house calls for years.

a fabulous tribute page for your friend... she sounds like an amazing person!!! the sunfowers are so pretty, love the kit and the country doctor sign... way to go on the photography challenge!!! TFS!!!

What a wonderful page and tribute to your friend. It's wonderful when people go the extra mile... and it sounds to me like you do for her too... that is what friends do for each other, you have blessed each other's lives. Congratulations to your friend, and how lucky she was there and her worry was indeed correct and able to be caught before it moved. It sounds like she was lucky to have you for a friend also with those meals when she needed them.
We do have doctors here who still make housecalls, it is welcome when needed... I am sure she will love what you have done for her!
