Very pretty weed Jean... it must be a weedy kind of day today, I too had some weeds to photograph... doing my little transplant... I may do a few more daily photo pages... who knows... maybe more... but I am not committing to the rest of the year... but I will travel the path with you for a while... Keep up the good work... your book is going to be beautiful!

This really is a pretty weed. I´ve got it in my garden along with the less attractive - to me - cultivated variety. It´s called "King´s Candle" over here which is very appropriate. It even looks attractive here without its flower spike. You´ve presented it beautifully with the natural textures of the backgrounds and I like the little bit of sparkle you´ve added.

I actually try and have several in my flower/herb garden area in Michigan, as the chick-a-dee's love the seeds in the pods after the flowers disappear...We always called it lambs ear, only because the leaves are velvety soft.
