Photo Details
Poster: acountryrose  (see this users gallery)

This is an attempt at a panoramic view of my home/street. The street does not have a bend though, but has a slight rise in the road going past my home. I took 5 photos from directly across the road and joined them together. I tried to straighten the road by distorting the photos but it looked weird, so I have to be content with a curve in my street. My block slopes down to the back and my house is behind the rather large garage with only the roof on my home visible. The two large conifer trees are close to the front boundaries.

Neat perspective, kinda like a fish eye. Love the colors of Retro's kit with your photo(s)

I love photos of paths and roads. They´re so fascinating because I always wonder what could be at the end of them. The perspective in this photo is very strange and surreal and one side is almost a mirror image of the other apart from the flash of sun on the left. I like the way you´ve made a frame from the gold strips and used the swirls to break up the background. Interesting and unusual page.

Great page, you did a fantastic job of blending the photos together... and I agree it is kind of a fish eye perspective... very interesting page... I love the way you used the papers and elements from the Dusk kit by Retro Designs... Great addition to your scrapbook!

This layout is so, so fine! The gold strips and swirl are wonderfully elegant but work perfectly with the textured background. Love the odd perspective of the land and the flash of sun.

I understand why what happened did...To get what you wanted, you would have to literally run down the street and take the shots from the same distance, but you would never get the length, or go wayyyyyyyy back and have a wide angle lens... This way is wonderful actually! It gives us a closer view of your spot...and love the affect with the strip up and down as well as the design across...great job!
