Journaling:

When we
went to Wal*Mart for ice the next day, we went
ahead and got three more kites, so that they could all fly them and not be
at odds over who’s turn it was. Alicia kept the one from the day before
(because she liked the colors), Josh got one with two tails, Jared got one in
the shape of a bird, and Amanda got a little Nemo kite... They had so much
fun! We just had to watch to make sure they didn’t tangle their kites
together, or get it too close to the highway above, as we didn’t want them
to cause an accident. Many hours were spent flying those colorful kites!
