Well, it happened again... Every time, I tell myself I won't let it... but here I am again... in need of some serious attention! Time to break out the bottle of hair color that has been sitting in my hall closet for weeks, and then head over to the salon to get my hair cut!

I was playing around with a new technique I found in a book at the library to make photos have a soft focus Effect... believe me... you ARE VERY happy I applied it to this photo! You would have run from the screen in fear had you seen how bad I really look! LOL! After I get my hair colored and cut, I will take another photo, and share a tutorial on how to do this effect if you are interested.

I used the Quick Page by Mary Ridgeway from the Mother\'s Day Mega Kit for Club Deco Members, May 2008. Thank you for the wonderful page Mary!

ROFL...Love your photo and page. You look like you went gray young...as mine started at 15, my father was totally gray when he died in his late 30's. You look great, effect or no effect. I look every morning at the bottle of color on my washer and think..need to do need to do need to do, then look at my long hair and say not today, not today not today. I do need to do it today or tomorrow, as in a little over a month from now we head to the states and I want it done again just before. I really wish I had never started with it...why can't we be who we are without trying to be what we were? Love the page!! Can't wait to see the new you!

Oh wow...can I ever identify...lol! It seem like almost overnight the cut get way too long and the grey stands out way too much!!! Sometimes I threaten to go totally grey and DH says he doesn't think we are ready for that...so fun since he is bald and what's left is grey...or really blond...pretty neat color, but my wouldn't be! You know...ever once in a while we need to take some time for ourselves...Waiting to see new cut and color! Great QP you chose ... like that almost stain glass like vine!

Well, since I rarely see pictures of you ladies, I love you for who you are definitely not for whatever your hair may look like! I do have to say that for some of us it is good thing we don't have video leads to our avatars, as you don't really want to see me either early in the am - or worse yet before I go to bed! Any rate great layout and cool technique!

I love the picture!! Your gray hair looks premature - for sure!! And you have so much hair - I'm really envious. A hairdresser (mean?!) once called my hair frog fur!! Sniffle! Can't wait to see your new cut and find out how you did the soft focus.

I love your layout of you Deb. Like everyone else, I too am blonde/grey and I would prefer just to let it go grey but Dh says no way!, so tomorrow nite I will do the roots and see if that will be ok ....I left the last color on too long and it looked really grey... Looking forward to seeing your new Haircut too!

Deb, see what you've started here! Well, you saw my photo yesterday and know that I am long-haired and naturally gray, so I'm out of that discussion. I am proud of you for sharing this photo (that I think looks great!) Look forward to your revealing the method behind it. Mary's QP is beautiful and a fitting place to put your pretty face.

Boy can I identify! My hair is not graying much yet but it has gotten thinner and is very unruly with curls and waves in all the wrong places. I torture it into shape every now and then.... like for my brother's wedding this weekend and apply half a bottle of spritzing spray to freeze it in place. As long as there is no humidity it kind of stays in place. I am so glad it didn't rain this Saturday =)
