BananaWeed600

I shall call you Banana Weed!

I have no idea what kind of weed this is, but the centers on it really remind me of banana’s! I thought it was really unique looking! I saw this as I was getting out of my car in the FMA parking lot... so of course I had to grab my camera! It’s a good
thing I just took photos of it, and didn’t wander off to take more photos, because my first appointment was already waiting for me... It’s not my fault he was early!!!!

I used the Quick Page by Tom Dillion from the June 2008 Club Deco Mega Kit - Garden Party for this... I did rotate the canvas, which I really think makes this particular page extremely versitile... you can do either a vertical or horizontal photo! I am just lovin the Garden Party kit this month! If you are not a Club Deco Member yet... this kit is WONDERFUL! Did you know you can now try Club Deco for a month to see if you like it for ONLY $7.99! That gives you a ton of stuff to play with in these wonderful bright and cheerful colors, and did you know that Club Deco Members get the starter kit for the Color Challenges as a part of their membership? Please do join and have some fun with us!

Thank you so much for the wonderful Quick Page Tom! I love the way my page turned out!

Oh, you are really showing off the gorgeous QPs in the Garden Party contributions! Love this photo and it looks wonderful in Tom's page. I have to laugh at your calling it banana as you really caught that look in the bloom. I don't know the plant offhand, but imagine it is in the nightshade family.

I did a search for the nightshade family of weeds, and found a site, I think by someone at MSU, and found a photo that matched the weed, so, I think it is called a Horse Nettle... But I am going to take creative license and call it a banana weed!

Wow! They really do look like little bananas. Never seen this plant before. Not a great deal of color around my garden, even in the area of weeds. However we have finally had some rain, and weeds are starting to grow

They really do look like banana's. I like your name better also! Horsehair nettle sounds not near as nice as what this plant looks like!

What a cool little weed it is! It really does look like bananas on it! Very pretty looking and the bright colors of Tom's contribution are so perfect for it too! Wonderful page!
