Daisie got a new doo and this mom is hot about it. I was so upset about it but nothing I could do. We were having 90 degree weather when it was done and she needed the cut. I didn't know until the appointment that the groomer had over booked...there were at least 7 dogs checked-in; in a 15 minute time frame and at least one more behind me. I was so angry when I picked her up and I will never take her back there again. So, we are slowly adjusting to it.

Good grief!! I wouldn't use that groomer again either! On the other side, Daisy must be feeling a lot cooler. But still, I'd be really ticked off too!

I'd have a fit, too! But she does look cute and will be easy to maintain during the hot weather. However, she shouldn't have done anything like that without getting your approval! Luckily, dogs don't care how they look!! Daisy looks so sweet - love the layout!

I'd be hopping too! Your layout looks great and it doesn't show how upset you were until reading the journaling. Good show!

I remember my In-Laws took their Sheltie to a groomer one time for a bath and they gave her a hair cut! What a mess... it was horrible... but it will grow back, and if it is 90 degree weather, I am sure Daisy does appreciate a little less of a coat right now. I would have been mad as all get go too!

I would be angry, and warn the people in the waiting room, but nicely. Poor Daisy! I certainly hope her hair does not work as an insulation against the heat as it does the cold...and becareful, she could get sunburned if in the sun and no protection. I had a long haired cat that had to have the mattes cut off and they just shaved her, she looked horrid, that cat would not come near me or anyone until her hair grew out. They know. Love your page...but poor Daisy...

Poor Daisie. She looks about as bare as your lawn! Wish we could take her to the seaside with us to cool off. I think we all prefer the "before" to the "after" but I´m sure she doesn´t mind how she looks. Anyway, with or without her shaggy mop she looks cute...and creating this page got it out of your system!

Love your page and journaling. Daisy is definitely the benefactor in this situation...cooler/healthier summer clip and she has a Mom who loves her soooo much!

Poor baby! She's so cute. But, on the positive side, she'll love her summer "do". Great kit and colors.

I am so sorry, but I did have a giggle. Both my daughter and my sister are very particular about their dogs grooming and I could hear them both if this had happened. Great page for Doggie Treats kit. Sorry I am still giggling.

Oh poor thing! My son has a Australian Shephered/Sheltie mix & he was shedding so badly last spring. My ds wanted me to have him shaved. We took him to the groomer & she shaved him. Tuffy was so embarrased when he got home! He kept looking at me asking why did I let her do that to him! Your layout is cute & maybe it has allowed him to enjoy the weather.
