A Meet and Mingle is a gathering of Cruise Critic members who have chatted with one another on the Cruise Critic message board prior to their cruise. The Meet and Mingle is hosted by Royal Caribbean on all sailings that are 7 nights or longer in duration. A lounge or other venue is provided, as are light refreshments and some prizes. The minimum requirement to earn a Meet and Mingle is 25 registered members. We were very fortunate on the CruiseCritic.com Message Board for our Western Caribbean Winter Getaway Cruise during the week of January 21-28, 2006 aboard the Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas. 66 Cruise Critic members registered and chatted with each other for 10 months prior to the cruise. The Meet and Mingle was held during our first day at sea, January, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. in the Cosmopolitan Lounge on Deck 14. It was hosted by a Royal Caribbean representative and was very fun because you could finally put faces with names. Pictured above are 31 of the 66 registered members.
