I don’t think the Honolulu Department of Tourism would be too happy with these pictures, but this is Oahu reality when Pele is angry on the Big Island and the trade winds stop. We had several weeks of intermitant VOG in April and May. At times it was very heavy. We could taste it in the air and it left ash everywhere. It’s been about a month since the last bad episode and island life being what it is most people seem to have forgotten all about it. June 2008

A really beautiful layout for a troubling story. The texture of the palm in the overlay is somehow perfect for the VOG and your alpha too. The photos really convey the murky scene so well.

Enlightening journaling. Your layout is so attractive and caught my eye right away in the gallery. It all gels together so very nicely. TFS.
