For the gallery hunt I chose a layout by Benilda Bezerra of her son Gabriel at http://board.deco-pages.com/showphoto.php/photo/21310
I love it for the very painterly look and the super layering of elements. It is different from my usual style, I think, and a good opportunity to try something new. I finally got a photo I wanted to use and a background that seemed right.
Every local eatery seems to be carving out some space, however tiny, for a patio. It seems popular and has been increasing over the years, but has a big push now that there is no smoking indoors in Ohio bars and restaurants and some of these spaces are such that it may be allowed. This one is brand new and I love this green umbrella.

wow.. and I mean a big wow.. this is so very different for you.. but not so at the same time.. you have a knack for pulling it all together and this is a fine example of using many different elements and making them look so great together!!! you layer so beautifully!!!! what a great umbrella.. I have to agree there.. and patios are huge here too.. there has been no smoking in restaurants, pubs, bars etc for a good many years now... awesome page.. TFS!!
