Once upon a time I was a paper scrapper big time! I had all the latest and greatest papers, cool tools and toys. Then I discovered digi scrapping. I belonged to a yahoo group called The Arkansas Scrappers. We met at least once a year for a weekend crop. I really miss the crops and the friends I made. If it weren\'t across the state I would still be going to the yearly retreat and monthly crops. I found this poem from 2Peas and thought it was a good description of why we scrap, be it paper or digi.
I'm making an album. My past, I'll record. My family's reflection will be my reward. I do it with love for my family's sake, putting all of my thought into each page I make. The time that I spend is a small price to pay for a lifetime of memories we'll cherish, one day. Our past will not fade with the passage of time. Our memories, kept in this scrapbook of mine. Each picture I crop has a story inside. I write each one down with affection and pride. Telling our memories, the old and the new. I enjoy every moment, because it's for you.
