Poster: bthiels (see this users gallery) 1959 photos of my friends and me during our dormitory open house. Back in the day, there were no co-ed dormitories, so this was a big deal to us, since the boys could come and visit during the hours of the open house, probably from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. And our rooms were real neat and clean too! The journaling reads: These pictures were taken in mydorm room in Elizabeth Rogers Dormitory at Berea College in the fallof 1959. I believe we were having an Open House -- and from the looks of us, it was for Halloween! We (girls) had been friends since our freshman year! The chair and record player you see in the bottom pic were bought with my summer earnings from my job on the Aquarama.

Love the photos of your college days. Beatniks? I had a poem that I made up and thought was dumb, but others liked it. Wonderful layout and journaling.
