I am so glad we are growing our own tomatoes this year! A salmonella outbreak has pulled many tomatoes out of the produce departments & restaurants. I know what it is like to have salmonella poisoning, ONLY our home grown tomatoes for me this year! I do feel sorry for the farmers who normally make a living from growing tomatoes but when I was pregnant with Matthew,
I got food poisoning, and I will never forget how horrible it was. I hope they get the problems under control.

Love your layout, I like how you put the early tomato plant picture in from May too! Maybe I should scrap my tomatoes too!!

Oh, yum! I used to love tomatoes straight out of the garden - warm and dusty!! Love your layout and the journaling will be so interesting in years to come!

It is frightening what is happening with our food...we depend on those people to do it right. There was just a big news thing here about other countries pulling outdated cheeses off the shelves, and somehow (in french of course so I missed part of it) reprocessing with some new cheese and putting it back on the shelves??? The eggs are another thing which end up with that bacteria as well... great page! Makes us think!

Terrific photos of your very healthy-looking tomato plants. What a wonderful topic to scrapbook about ~~ growing your own vegetables/fruits. Excellent journaling to remember this year by later on in life.

Great journaling and photos, Deb...and so true! We have some homegrown tomatoes and so glad we do because we love tomatoes and it would be so hard to go with out them! Beatiful page with the extra large photo and two smaller ones next to your detailed journaling! Love the way you attached the ric rack to the eyelet bow, too! TFS
