Poster: DebAmmerman (see this users gallery) This is my Great Uncle Louie and my Great Aunt Lillian on their wedding day. Uncle Louie was my Grandma Bifulco’s Brother, he married my Grandpa Bifulco’s sister. I remember them in thier elder years. Aunt Lillian had a beauty shop and did people’s hair. Uncle Louie was a very sick man the entire time I knew him, he was bedridden. I remember Aunt Lillian would feed him and care for him at home. I believe she passed away suddenly, and he was put into a nursing home, where he passed away shortly after. I do not know if they had children. (I have to get ahold of my Aunt to find out more! I did get an email from my cousin, and she told me a little bit about Aunt Tanzy, which I added journaling to that layout... so I will alter the journaling if I need to change anything.) This layout was created with my Roses for Mom kit. I altered the doily to fit the oval rather than circle format of this photo. I would love to know what you all think of this layout.

Deb this is a stunning layout! I especially love the lace doily and I love how you made the journaling look like it was on a piece of paper just tucked underneath the side of the doily! Awesome! Your Roses for Mom kit is such a beautiful kit for heritage layouts! I HAVE to get a new scanner so I can do some layouts of my Mom and Grandparents with it!

Deb, I agree with Jen's comments about the excellence of this layout. The overall effect is so lovely. I also like the bit of brighter color in the tag and the contrasting tone of the photo to all the other colors. You continue to show the wonderful way this kit works with vintage photos.
