Kookaburras are large and native to Australia and New Guinea. They are best known for their unmistakable call, which is uncannily like a loud, echoing human laughter. They eat lizards, snakes, insects, mice and raw meat. In the wild, kookaburras are known to eat babies of other birds, snakes, insects and small lizards. They are territorial, and often live with the partly grown chicks of the previous season. They often sing as a chorus to their territory.

Beautiful layout!! I love the colors and the information! I keep hearing the song about the Kookaburra! I've been gone for quite awhile and have missed so many layouts - it's good to be back!!

What an unusual bird this is. Its choice of menu is unusual too! Love that pretty frame and the way you´ve used the font is very striking.
