Journaling: I was married to a man who regularly uttered the words to 'our song' for several years into our relationship. But you know, however unfortunately it may seem and for whatever reasons, couples can and do drift apart. Marriage can be hard work and if both partners stop working at making it work and lose sight of the devotion, then divorce often seems the only viable solution for them to regain their spirit. For Kenny and I, we have learned to be friends again for our children and grandchildren, and probably for ourselves, too. We will just grow old together a little differently than we set out to do in the beginning.
Our wedding song is 'Thank You' by Led Zeppelin
