Sorry to hear you have diabetes. My husband also has it and is trying to maintain it by diet but now he's taking some pills too. I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with the triplets and my feet got swollen. I had to keep them raised with pillows under them to stop the swelling. Great layout good luck with your weight loss.

oh-oh...so sorry to hear this. I, too, am a diabetic and take pills and several shots of insulin a day. Yep, weight is a contributing factor but hey, I don't want to starve either, LOL. Take care.

Oh, your poor feet! Your dad must be a doctor - he'll keep on eye on you! Take care!! My mom's feet and legs would swell so much - but not from diabetes - so every time mine get puffy I have a slight panic!

Oh, Deb, you are so brave to post a photo of your poor feet! I can commiserate with you also being diabetic and overweight. Good luck with all it entails!

Ouch that sucks! My feet do that too. I have diabetes too and have to take medication and insulin shots as well as watching my diet to try to control it. For me cutting back on my salt intake helps reduce the swelling and getting my feet up in the evenings.

oh, i'm sorry to hear it - do everything your doctor (your dad?) tells you to do! i take a pill for nerve pain that does the same thing to my feet, and i hate it! thank you for sharing this lovely (and painful) layout with us!

Wow! So sorry to hear that you are having medical problems. Your feet are so swollen and uncomfortable! Take care of yourself and good luck with the weight loss.

Thanks for sharing this painful part of your life with us. Your feet look sore. By reading the comments there seems to be quite a number here suffering from diabetes. I don't, but possibly could one day as I to am overweight. Although some who don't have a weight problem have it to. Fabulous journaling Deb as always.
