Poster: acountryrose (see this users gallery) I see these birds occasionally either flying overhead or sitting on a post. Journaling reads ... The Nankeen Kestrel is a bird of pray and found in most areas of Australia. I did have one fo these birds land in the garden of my last home, where he had caught a mouse. They are in the Falcon family and feed on small mammals, reptiles, birds & insects. Pairs of these birds usually stay together and will often use the same nest site. A nest could be a tree hollow, caves, ledges on buildings or the ground. I think they are a pretty bird. This is a very pretty bird with its many shades of brown and beige. Love the colours you´ve chosen, your use of the frame and the lovely embossed heading you´ve made with a background paper. Simply beautiful.

Love this layout! We have Kestrals here, too, in Arizona. The males have quite a bit of blue on them - they are just gorgeous! They can dive up to 70 miles per hour when they spot a prey and can carry prey away that weighs as much as they do! They are such awesome birds!!
