Great School Friends
In the fall of 1966 my father had to move or risk losing his job. We had to move closer to Columbus because of long distant phone service. We moved from Plain City to Hilliard, which was only 16 miles closer to Columbus, but it seemed like 1000 miles to me. I didn’t handle the move very well at all. It was very rough moving from one junior high school to another. I didn’t know anyone. These friends made me feel welcome. They made me feel like I belonged in Hilliard. Thank you for being there when I needed you!!! I only hope I treated you as well.......
Notes:
This layout is reminiscent of a denim notebook I carried in school. It recognizes and pays tribute to the great bunch of friends I had in the Hilliard Schools.
