When I started working on my page for this challenge, I had a huge list of things I'd change about myself. One thing I've always wished for was to be a blue-eyed blonde. As you can see, I am anything but. Before the accident, I admit, I bleached my hair! And since I've been near-
sighted for most of my life, and had to wear contacts anyway, I used to wear blue contacts. After the accident, I had a hard time sitting in a salon chair for the length of time it takes to lighten hair as dark as mine; and because my hair grows very fast, it just didn't seem worth the effort. The eyes? Well, since it was impossible for me to put contacts in myself, and kind of hard to have my husband put them in for me, I opted for LASIK surgery. So here I am, dark hair, dark eyes, again wishing for the thing I've wanted since childhood. Ironic, right?

Yes, but how great is it - no more contacts. And it is easier to take your picture with brown eyes, haven't you noticed most red eyes in photos come from blue eyed people. Great journal.

Wonderful journaling and page. Love seeing a different expression, more open, innocent, bit curious, bit sad... So many people would love to have your hair/complexion/dark eyes. Have you ever noticed we tend to want what we don't have. Don't worry...eventually nature will give you the light hair you wanted, and you will want it dark again!
