Very cool layout! Beautiful and educational! When I was a kid and we lived in Kentucky for a while, we used to gather the young pokeweed in the spring. We would blanch them and chop them and then fry some bacon and onions and then add the poke greens and a little vinegar. Ooooh it was soooo good! I remember they were only edible when they were just young shoots though..... assuming these are the same kind of pokeweed?

I actually kept this page open so I could remember to call Michigan and make sure our renter did not pull this as a weed after seeing your page! We have a volunteer at the corner of the porch and with your gorgeous page and info, I realize I want it to continue to grow!! TFS!
