It’s your second day of school of the 8th grade,
we missed the bus yesterday, but secretly I was pleased, because it gave me a little quality time with you. The last week of school last year, one of the kids called you a name, and I have been banned from the bus stop ever since! I enjoyed
this time because we would talk and goof around while we waited for the bus to come. I hope at the very least, that this year you will ask me to drive you down to the end of the drive way and wait with
you on rainy or snowy days, so I can have a little time with you. But I understand... it’s not fun when kids make fun of you, and so I hid in the garage to take this photo. But I do think that kid was just jealous that his Mom didn’t wait with him to catch the bus! OK... maybe not... but humor me!

The bus ride to school took almost an hour, so I would drive the kids --- which was about 10 minutes. Otherwise, I'd be like you -- keeping an eye on them at the bus stop! School and activities take up so much of their time you have to grab it while you can. I like your QP and I'm sure your son will roll his eyes when he sees it --- all the better!

fabulous page... love your QP!!! and wow.. I love your journaling..I cannot imagine being banned from the bus stop... I am sure that whatever you said, it was not enough to justify such actions... your boy is soo lucky you care sooo much!!! and he may roll his eyes when he sees this.. but he knows you love him.. and what could mean more to him than that!! TFS!!!

I didn't say anything wrong to him, a kid on the bus called him a Momma's Boy... I think it was mean, and I understand Matthew not wanting the kids to make fun of him.

Peer pressure causes changes that otherwise would not need to be changed, but unfortunately it is not always for the best. Hard watching them grow up! Like how you hid in the garage to get the photo for a page showing the process happening (to both of you!). Great page!
