Hurricane Ike, who would have thought that one would have to worry about a hurricane clear into the midwest! I lost 16' foot of privacy fence and a big tree limb hit Bobbie's car, the garage is missing a layer of shingles in places and I don't even live in Texas where it hit. I can't imagine the devastation that they must have!

Horrible to see the damage Ike did...but glad everyone is ok!! (Although I must say that secretly I am glad some of these nasty ones are being named after men and not women!) Our weather patterns are all off also... I have missed the films so only have photos her in the gallery to see. It had to have been a really bad one to get that far inland!

This picture brings back memories, we don't live in a storm prone area but about 8 years ago we had a freak storm come through and devestated our backyard lifting a 80ft gum treet out by the roots, what a hole it left. Great layering.

Great documentary of hurricane Ike. It is amazing how much power hurricanes carry.

Man oh man! It sure was amazing to see that hurricane on the satellite shots -- it was huge! Sure hope this is not going to continue -- you folks on the Gulf have been through enough.
