Poster: bthiels (see this users gallery) I became an instructor in 1965 in the early years of the Job Corps Program--the curriculum in the Civilian Conservation Corps was primarily adult literacy education as well as job training. Many of our students joined the military and were sent to Vietnam. I've often wondered how these students have done in life and I pray that the education and training we provided made a positive difference for them.
