It is a beautiful painting. LOL...being that I am in my mid-forties now, I am starting to ... well, let's just say, some days I look in the mirror and wonder.... who are you! then I just try to avoid the mirrors! LOL ... I think I will get a hair cut today! Your new kit looks like it is going to have some wonderful rich colors and pretty little elements! can't wait to see it!

Beautifully rich and at the same time, warm colors. Your kit is starting out wonderfully.

I do agree that the painting is quite beautiful but I do not like the poem. Your interpretation of what he is saying is exactly how I read it as well! As though we old folk are no longer beautiful or appealing to someone...hmph! Love this page though and the beautiful painting!!!

Ahhh...but we know that the times have changed! The poem also reminds me of a folk song by Peter, Paul and Mary, For the times they are a changin' I loved the page, poem, I kept reminding myself that it was very true "back then"...if you hit 20 you could be an old maid but the sky is the limit today! If all the person looks at is our outer self, then it is not love anyway. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beautiful page!!

I think times have changed too. I know my Dad found another love after my Mom had died and he and Marilyn were both in their 70's.
Beautiful colors.
