Journaling:

The next morning the rangers were having a “treasure hunt” for the
kids at 9 am, and they really wanted to go. So we got up early and
had a bowl of cereal… Then Joe took the kids to that while I
stayed in the trailer to shower and do the dishes (from breakfast
and the sandwiches the night before)… Joe was terrified that
there would be another hike, but there wasn’t. *lol* … The
kids were just given a list of things they had to collect, like
a seed, leaves, etc. When they were done they all got either
stickers or a tattoo of J.R. Beaver.

When they got back, I was done with my shower and the
trailer was clean… So we headed down to Jim and
Elvina’s trailer (in the Durango, thank you very
much). All the family were packing up their
stuff because check out time was 1 o’clock (though Jim
and Elvina stayed one more night… Retired), so we sat
and chatted for a while. We told Debbie that we were
going to roast hot dogs for lunch before heading
out, so they decided to come up and do some
too, and Joe’s parents decided to come as well.
