Cape May New Jersey is one of the places I went every summer with my family. One of my favorite places is the Lighthouse in what is now called Cape May Point State Park. I enjoyed running on the beach, walking the trails picking up "horsetails" and rocks, twigs and saplings and even got a dose of poison ivy one year. I have taken my children to visit the Light House and this summer I hope to take my grandchildren. On a side note, I remember my grandmother giving me "earth" shoes to walk in.. Anyone remember those?
