I have to write about birds again as that is mostly how we see the months go by. The big photo was taken as we returned to the mouth of the river on the way back to the dock on our boat trip last Sunday. We are excited to see how the trip goes tomorrow. The gull is called a Ring-billed Gull which is the most numerous here.

Journaling reads:
November is a time of such variable weather we never know what
to expect. It is almost always a time when we see interesting
birds on Lake Erie. Unusual gulls can be a real treat and sea ducks,
loons or grebes may bring a thrill. Our boat trip last Sunday saw another
specialty, a jaeger. We will be out on the boat again this week, but with
predictions of clouds and a little cooler, which is still great for November.
