Poster: FEETJIE (see this users gallery) This is my loving gran some 14 years ago. We were extremely close, as after my dad (it was his mom) died, my mom, my sister and I went to live with her. I was with her till the very end when she died on 23 December 1999. I helped her get dressed and in bed and though it was so very hard to say goodbye, I am glad that I was there ... Rest in peace Ouma Lootjie, I will always love and miss you! You have been a blessing to me and I will never forget you! Can't wait to meet you again... I tell my children about you almost every day, you would've loved them and adored them to bits! I love you! TFL and listening!

This is a heartfelt and beautiful tribute to your grandmother and I can understand how you feel. My own beloved grandma died many years ago but I still get tearful when I think of her. Grandmothers are truly special.
