Be sure to have cream cheese and butter at room temperature. Cream together. Add Flour. Roll out to 1/8 - 1/4 Inch thickness.
Place 1/2 Teaspoon preserves in center of cut circles (You can use a glass to cut them out, that\'s what I do). Press edges. Bake 15 minutes at 375 Degrees.
Journaling Reads:
Matthew,
Are you wondering why I would put a recipe in your scrapbook? Well, this is not just any recipe. It was written by my Mother. I scanned this in so you would always have a copy of it. Not only because it is her writing, but because you LOVE these cookies. I make them for you every year, as I do, I feel like my Mother is here with us, sharing in the joy of Christmas. That is what tradition is all about, and some day when you have children of your own, I hope that you will continue this tradition and make cookies with them!
Love,
Your Mom

Deb, This is wonderful. I love your layout, the way you scanned the original recipe and the journaling is just perfect. A sweet family tradition to be passed on down through the generations.
The recipe looks yummy too. I will try them out. We are going to have an extra delicious Christmas this year.

Oh Deb! I love this! What a wonderful way to preserve this memory for your
son and future generations! The recipe sounds scrumptious too! I love cream cheese =). Love the layout you made from Caz's contribution to the ptp kit too. It's gorgeous!

Oh wow...this is gorgeous. I have all of my mother-in-laws recipes...I should do the same thing for my girls. We actually have lost her millionaire pie recipe...wished we had scanned them all before they started scattering. Another project to add to the "to do" list.
Wonderful layout, too. It is so beautiful and festive. Can't wait to try the recipe out.

This is a wonderful LO Deb. Those cookies sound so delicious and simple. I love cookie recipes that dont call for a ton of ingredients.
I'll be trying this one.

Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments! I had so much fun doing this Challenge! Thinking of my Mom makes me happy. I miss her so much, but somehow, while I was doing this page, I felt she was near. Thanks so much Tami for doing this challenge, and Thanks a bunch for the Freebie Kit Caz! It's beautiful!

This is so pretty..makes me want to try the recipe just from the LO. What a wonderful present this would make or perhaps just a small Pic for the top of your packages? Beautiful
