Guess What..... I’m pregnant! YEAH! Finally! It seems like it has taken FOREVER to get to this point. I took a home pregnancy test
on Saturday morning, and sure enough.... There was a blue line! And these tests are 99% accurate. You’ll never guess how excited
I am. It seems like it’s been forever.... As we’ve been trying since last February. I’m going to make a Doctor’s appt tomorrow morning.
It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to get in, so we won’t get “official” news until then. As in the real due date and such. They always d0
an ultrasound at the first visit, to get an accurate due date, so we’ll get to see you then. That’s always fun. I woke up at around
3:45 on Saturday morning, knowing that it was “the day” I was going to take the test. I tried to go back to sleep, and take the test
at a decent time, but I just couldn’t. It didn’t take me long to figure this out, so I quietly (as not to wake up Daddy) got up and went
to the bathroom. I was very anxious about taking the test, as I didn’t want it to say no...... But I had nothing to worry about! I saw the
blue line, I was finally pregnant! YEAH! I thanked God right away, right there in the bathroom. Kind of a strange place to pray!.....
Now to tell Daddy! It was 3:55 when I ran into our bedroom and pounced on the bed...... “Joe! We’re Pregnant!” “We are? It was
positive?!” .... Daddy was very thrilled. We lay there and talked about it for a while. Daddy then got off the bed, to say a silent prayer
of thanks to God for you. Daddy did get to go back to sleep for a little while. But I was too excited to sleep. I looked at the pictures
in my book “A Child Is Born” and I also looked through a Baby’s R Us catalog...... As you can see, you were on my mind! I sent out
an Email that night, which I mean to print out for your Baby Book. I also want to print out all the responses that I get from people....
But so far, the only people who have responded are my Email friends. who I’ve never even met in person. Annika from Sweden was
the first to respond, then Trish from Kentucky and Jodi from West Virginia. My friend Gretta called today.... But I can’t print that out!
I’m hoping I can go to Baby’s R Us on Wednesday to pick out a baby book. I love you little one! I can’t wait for you to get here.......
