The Nepalese Peace Pagoda was built for the 1988 Expo at South Brisbane Australia. After much fund raising and support, it was one of the only Expo \'88 displays left standing. It is a beautiful hand carved structure that is always a place to stop and rest and take photos for tourists and locals alike. Every time we go to South Bank it is ineviatable that we go there to sit and rest and have taken many photos over the years. the kids particularly like to climb upon the lucky elephants and look at the city that stretches out before them.
