I know these photos that my husband and daughter took are extremely fuzzy, but they document an event I want to remember. Yes, it’s frustrateing that neither one was able to
hold still or put the camera on the correct setting, but I like these pictures anyway. We were bored because the bus was over a half hour late, but having a good time being together anyway. I got to try out grandpa’s new camera. (He really ought to put a strap on that thing!) It was neat to try out a
digital SLR camera. Mine is a point and shoot. I loved his shutter response, mine is about 3 seconds, so I miss all kinds of stuff, like the whales. Grandpa took the restless wigglers on a bunch of walks to burn off some excess energy. We had been waiting for over a half an hour when Cyril had to use the rest room so we trundled off and just as he finished, the bus finally came! When we got on, the people on the bus looked at us like if this was a free tour, they would get off. As it turned out the kids were great all day, and several people complemented us on their behavior.
