I started making my own tags several years ago using the Avery printer labels. With some software, like MS Publisher, you can choose which Avery size you want to use and design one label that is replicated. I have created a sheet of labels that uses Avery 8163 labels (2x4 inch labels with ½ inch at the top and bottom and ¼ inch at the sides). This layout uses as many tags as I could find places for to show that you can create a layout with mostly tags. I modified the hue and saturation of some of the tags and changed the sizes to fit the area.

Carol, I really like the gift tags! I have been making my own tags for years for family and friends! I used to make them all by hand! Little drawings and stuff! I love the idea of creating Avery labels! WOW! These lables are GREAT! I am going to have to go out and buy some Avery 8163 labels so I can buy your kit! Thanks for sharing!

I started making labels back on a dot matrix printer with the continuous feed type of paper (too much info, this dates me). Anyway, it made Christmas cards easier.

Carol, That's ok... I dated myself in a post on one of Rebecca's Layouts, when I asked if anyone could help me out about a show I used to watch when I was a kid! Turns out the show was "Love American Style!" ... I too remember dot matrix printers with continuous feed type of paper! I also remember having to do everything in dos!!
